Womens Veterans

Objectives

To provide an organisation for the promotion of golf for veteran women golfers who are members of golf clubs affiliated to Golf Wellington. To organise golfing fixtures for the enjoyment and fellowship of Veterans members.

‍‍Membership

‍Membership totals are around 300 eighteen hole players and 90 nine hole players

Current qualifying age is 50

Joining fee is $15 and the yearly subscription is $3

Each club has a representative who can provide an application form

Competition Days

‍Competition days are arranged at a different club each month

Days are a mixture of Mondays Thursdays and Fridays and cater for 9 and 18 hole players

The hosting club sets the green fees which are currently around $20

There is also a competition fee which is currently $2

The competition is Stableford and the draws currently require a mixture of handicaps and clubs

Entries are made through the club representative who will also advise start times
