Located in Wellingtons wine country, Martinborough golf club is surrounded by trees and vineyards. They welcome all players to their wonderful course.

Established over 100 years ago the Martinborough Golf Club has an established course with mature trees, well-kept greens and fairways, and is a full 18 hole, par 72 course, 5546 metres in length. The clubrooms feature bar facilities, catering and changing rooms.

The members are proud to welcome new members, affiliated players and green fee players. The clubrooms may also be hired for hosting special events – the perfect venue for a birthday celebration.

The 100 acre site originally used for horse races was acquired by the local Council 50-odd years ago and the Martinborough Golf Club has now developed into one of the best loved country courses.

Part of the attraction to the club is its rural setting surrounded by Martinborough’s renowned vineyards.This beautifully groomed and popular course is flat to gently undulating with easy walking and plenty of attractive trees, including mature oaks lining several fairways.Come and enjoy the hospitality of the Martinborough Golf Club. The course is open at all times and visitors are always welcome. Green fees are $30 for affiliated players and $45 for others, as well as a 9-hole rate for those who prefer the shorter game.

Getting Here

Follow State Highway 2 over the Rimutakas, and into Featherston. You will then turn right onto SH53 and follow the road into Martinborough, carry on straight through the square and you will reach the golf club.
